I had my wisdom teeth extracted almost 3 weeks ago and I still have gaping holes in my gums. They don’t hurt or bleed but food do get stuck in them and its annoying having to clean them out all the time. When do the holes typically close?

I am going to on vacation 11 days after my scheduled wisdom teeth extraction (removing all 4, which are impacted). I am really worried that 11 days isn’t enough time to fully recover from the surgery in which case my vacation would be ruined.

I need to find a dental insurance plan that covers a good amount of the cost for wisdom teeth extraction. Does anyone know if Delta Dental is good enough, or maybe Dental Blue?? I need a plan that does not have a waiting period to become effective.

I got all 4 wisdom teeth out about 5 weeks ago or so. I just went to the dentist today and one of the wisdom teeth caused a cavity on the adjacent tooth. Is it ok to have it filled so soon? Will it disturb anything in the extraction site?
