Before i didn’t believe that laughing gas would work to help the pain ,my dentist gave me some laughing gas and put a numbing serum and i was taking my first few breaths of it the next few seconds i started feeling really strange like it was kinda like being on cloud nine you can hear you dentist but you don’t feel a thing , it was funny because my dentist started looking like a strawberry!

I still can’t believe that in the 21st Century they still use drills. We keep hearing about new painless drilling methods that use lasers or acids but do these sadists use them…? Do they hell. They’ll just keep on drilling away, too early before the novacaine has kicked in and then extract £100 or so for the privilage even at an NHS dentist.

The worst part of it is the numbing of the tooth. It feels uncomfortable but it doesn’t really hurt. If the drilling hurts then ask for some more Novocaine.

one time i had a cavity and they said it was so small the i didn’t need the Novocaine It did tickle a bit when they were drilling it. soon they said that they have to remove this tooth an well i was thinking “WHY WHY ME??” So they took out that tooth…does your lip feel really fat? I like that feeling.Except for the pain afterward ,I’ve gotten at least 10 or more cavities but most of them were caps not fillings I’ve only gotten 1 filling.I like it better than the cap!

my cavity looks nothing like that. my teeth are really weak no matter how much i brush my teeth or how much milk i drink(i drink at least a gallon every 3 to 7 days. my dentist’s instrument barely penetrated my tooth and he said i have a cavity. i have to get a filling in a month.( hopefully it won’t affect my saxaphone playing or i’ll be mad)

A filling *from a patients perspective*
1) They had a look and cleaned out the cavity. Explaining what they would do.
2) They injected me with a needle, although it looks evil and like it’s going to hurt, you feel like basically you’ve just had a little pinch.
3) After 5-0 minutes they called me back in and drilled the cavity down, filled it with a liquid, shun a UV light for a few seconds, all done.
I’ve had a lower filling before, and they’re the ones that give the most numb. Painless.
