Kyle After the Dentist.wmv
This is a video story over 3 days of my wisdom tooth extraction. I got all 4 out at the same time and let me tell you, it was truly dreadful.
I had all 4 pulled under general anesthesia. I was pretty out of it leaving the surgeon’s. The major thing I noticed was the horrible initial pain, lack of control over my jaw, and the swelling. After 5 days of slow progress I was treated for dry socket which involves pulling out the stitches and inserting medicated gauze into the sockets which made it feel much better. My diet entirely consisted of applesauce, pudding, mashed potatoes, soup with no meat (after 24 hours), and ice cream. For about the first 2 – 2 1/2 weeks you will be on a soft diet. It takes forever to even be able to close your jaw all the way let alone chew hard food. I did loose weight. After the dry socket problem is taken care of healing is pretty straight forward and just has to be taken day by day. Yes, it sucks. But with time it will get better.

I used the …
I used the Microsoft Lifecam Cinema throughout the video except in the car. Between 2 of the videos Microsoft did a driver update and it DRASTICALLY changed the quality of the camera. I was shocked a driver could make such a huge difference.
I know it sounds …
I know it sounds weird or crazy but I had mine out and all the dentist used was Novocaine and he pulled them. Hardly felt anything. He did say that because they were so bad they may have been dead which is why I really did not feel anything. On that note….what kind of webcam did you use at the end of this video? Its super clear.
