How much does it cost to get 4 impacted wisdom teeth pulled?

I’m 27 and have 4 wisdom teeth that need to be pulled. How much does it normally cost w/ anesthesia and do different surgeons charge different amounts? thanks

The cost will vary as to
Are they impacted or erupted (how much bone is over them)
what do the roots look like (do they have hooks or bends)
the type of anesthetic (local, nitrous oxide, IV sedation, complete general)
the location you live.
different fees in different offices
Your best bet is to get a consultation appointment and find out the out of pocket costs from the dentist. Good luck

  1. Well to get one pulled it costs 175.00- 330.00 ( I believe that anesthesia is in that cost) So I don’t know if costs more to get all 4 out or if this is just one flat rate fee.
But damn I feel bad for you. I know a guy that had this done and with anesthesia he almost passed out.

  2. i just had mine done today with IV sedation and it is different for each place. The oral surgeon my dentist recommended was going to charge 400-580 PER TOOTH, and my insurance wouldn’t cover anything because that Dr wasnt in our network. We found an Oral surgeon that WAS in our network and they only charged 250-380 per tooth (pending on difficulty) and IV sedation was $150 for 1 hour.

i suggest working with your insurance (if you have dental) and find a good oral surgeon that will be affordable. There are also usually some clinics that will do teeth extractions for free. I ALMOST went to one, and it was an oral surgeon just doing this for free if you don’t have dental insurance and it looked like your teeth would be hazardous to your health. Maybe you could find one near you.

or there may be a teaching hospital near you, who have dental students that will do it at a reduced rate…this is what I did. They also happend to be in our network, so that is even more awesome.

good luck man, and dont worry – it doesnt hurt.
