Tooth Whitening

My bottom two wisdom teeth are horizontally impacted and need to be removed. I went to a dental surgeon and he couldn’t remove it. He referred me to a specialist but said that few dentists know how to remove them. I want to find more dental surgeons in the phone book, but how can I tell if they can do this procedure?

Also if you know, how much does it cost to remove them in Ontario, Canada? I have no health insurance.

All oral surgeons should be trained in extraction of wisdom teeth, including wisdom teeth that are impacted. It concerns me that a dental surgeon said he did not know how. That is strange.
