What I tell my patients is if the teeth are completely in, free of inflammation, normal gum tissue pocket depths, and accessible for easy hygiene, and no decay, they can hold on to them. But it’s important to see their dentist for check up as problems occur frequently and it is rare they remain healthy during one’s life time.
