How would I prepare for an oral surgery/How long would it take to recover from this type of surgery?

I have to have an oral surgery done to get my permanent tooth down from the top of my mouth. How do I prepare for this surgery? How long does it take to recover from it because I play softball. Please help. I’m a 17 year old female who is wearing braces right now.

ask your oral surgeon these questions he or she will know best

dont be afraid to ask questions they actually think patients who ask questions are better patients instead of the patients who just sit there like they are sheep!

I’m 40 and just had my wisdoms removed. The oral surgery experience was way easier than I ever expected. One tooth should be easy to recover from as the next day after having four removed I went shopping all day.
