How long after having wisdom teeth removed can I take a shower? What Temperature?

I had wisdom teeth removed on Thursday afternoon. Yesterday I just stayed home and relaxed. Now it’s Saturday and I do need a shower but am wondering if the water can fall on my face and at what temperature? Also should I avoid it going into my mouth?

Heehe, I just had mine removed friday morning and my mom is telling me today is the time to take a shower.

Since you are obviously past the icing stage, you can take a shower at a normal temperature as you could be using heat on your jaw if you needed.

Just don’t take too long of a shower, in and out!

It really shouldn’t effect your teeth if you take a shower now, you may get a slight pain but it will be minor compared to what you just went through! Try not to push on your jaw or direct the water flow directly onto it – that may cause discomfort.

    Good luck!

I got my wisdom teeth out on Thursday morning and i took a shower on Friday morning just like i usually do. Just be careful when you are washing your face not to put too much pressure on it.
